With a top speed of 25 m.p.h., you probably won't see these police cruisers in any high speed chases. The North Charleston, South Carolina police department recently put three electric golf carts (LC3 model) on to the streets. It is hoped that the small, nonthreatening vehicles will help to break down barriers between the police and the community. [via The Post and Courier]
